Shantinayaka

Originally from England, Shantinayaka has been practicing Buddhism for many years and joined the Western Buddhist Order in 1990. While he was chairman of the Seattle Buddhist Center, he was a regular visitor to the SFBC. Now he lives in San Francisco with his wife, both of whom have worked as the Center's caretakers since 2008.
