Khajit
Khajit
began practising with the FWBO in 1986, at age 19, and was ordained
in 1998. He came to Buddhism through the arts, Western philosophy, and
participation in alternative communities. He is a Gerontologist who
currently works with the families of those with brain-impairing conditions
such as Alzheimer's Disease. "For me, Dharma practice is about living
an authentic life. In the face of our own crap, how do we live a more
open and free life? The Dharma offers a way of creative engagement with
ourselves and the world."
Khajit is part of the North
American Ordination Team for men.
