Acarasiddhi

Acarasiddhi loves teaching English to newly-arrived immigrant high school students. Prior to teaching, which he began in 1998, he worked for many years as a criminal defense attorney.

He took his first meditation course in 1991, and was ordained in San Francisco in February, 2005. His name, which means “The attainment of good or skillful conduct,” is a daily reminder of his intention to live according to Buddhist precepts.

He has two adult children and he lives joyfully with his wife just a mile from his school. He is working on a series of short stories.
