Donations and Payments*
We can accept credit card payments online (though not in person.) Use your credit card online to do any of the following:
- one-time donation
- a recurring monthly, quarterly, or annual donation (as part of our Dana Program)
- deposit or full free for a course or retreat
Doing this does not register you for an event.
You still need to email, call, or come to the Center and supply at least your contact information and the event you want to attend in order to be registered for an event. When using this service, please consider adding 5% to the amount to cover the processing fees we pay. You can also make your donation or payment/deposit by check - just make the check out to 'FWBO' and mail it to the Center.
INTERNATIONAL VISITORS: You can make your deposit or payment using this site by clicking the link below - however after the first screen where you enter the amount etc., you must specify "Pay by PayPal". If you don't have a PayPal account, the next screen will allow you to select "Sign up for a PayPal account and continue checkout." It is pretty easy. If this doesn't work for you, please send an international money order or write to us for instructions on bank transfers.
Click Donate Now below, and on the new page, click "Donate Now" again. If your donation is for something specific, please indicate what it's for (in the "Designation" box.)
If you are paying for a class or other event, please print the receipt and bring it to the class/event.

* A note about prices. The Bay Area Friends of the Western Buddhist Order (FWBO) is a nonprofit organization that runs on donations and the support of those attending its events and classes. We would like to offer the Dharma to anyone with interest and are very happy to have reduced rates for those who need them. Please arrange reduced rates in advance when possible.
