The San Francisco Buddhist Center regularly hosts arts events that feature visual and performance art and film. If you are an artist and would like to submit work, please contact director@sfbuddhistcenter.org

Criteria for selected art is based mostly on interest/humor/depth/originality and for (implicit) Buddhist themes which may include greed/lust, generosity, hatred, loving-kindness, ignorance, delusion, fixed views, habits, wisdom, compassion, human Enlightenment and communication, community, change, vegetarianism, consumerism, ethics, nonharm, violence, oppression, war, awareness/mindfulness, selflessness, suffering, practice, silence, meditation, or celibacy.

We encourage people of color, women, and everyone else to submit their work!
